A case report of crossmatching incompatibility caused by IgG anti-E, anti-c

Abstract: A male patient required 2 units ABO Rh(D) homotypic suspension red blood cells transfusion due to renal anemia.During the crossmatching,it was compatible by using saline,agglutinated in primary tube and compatible in secondary tube by using polybrene test.The results from Rh blood grouping test and a series of random antibody screening tests showed that the patient carried IgG anti-E and anti-c antibodies.It has been found that in the ABO homotypic blood group,Rh blood group has no anti-E and anti-c antigens,and after 2 units compatible suspension red blood cells transfusion,no adverse reactions found and with good effects.-
