A case of high-dose methylprednisolone regimen for chronic lymphocytic leukemia with p53 abnormalities and literature review
-
Abstract: A case of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) with p53 gene abnormalities was reported and related literature were reviewed. The results showed that p53 gene mutation and deletion were positive, chromosomal karyotype was complex, and the high-dose methylprednisolone regimen achieved a good therapeutic effect. It suggests that the detection of p53 gene abnormalities is important for prognosis and treatment of CLL patients.High-dose methylprednisolone regimen is promising for CLL patients with p53 abnormalities.
